Hello Dec :)

Showers of favor and blessings upon me :)

Snap a photo of Team Singapore that can't even see SB. I'm a champion! LOL.

This year I told myself, by hook or by crook, I MUST watch Nations Cup!!! To support Simpang Bedok and Team Singapore!!! Wooohooo!!! Anyway, Nations Cup this year is freaking exciting! Singapore had a lead start in the competition winning Sri Lanka, PNG and Namibia. We lost to Fiji but won Malaysia and made it to finals where we had to play Fiji again!€ Singapore fought hard and emerge 2nd! So proud of Team Singapore and my dear friend! Looking forward to next year! Hopefully by then I will have my camera and dear Daddy God, make sure Simpang Bedok remain in the teamn injury-free and have loads of court time! <3

Phew! Know what, it's been such a tiring week for me. Looking forward to good quality rest soon! Been coaching EVERDAY this school holidays! Except sundays of course! Ha! And with Christmas around the corners, Rock Kids decor preperations is stepping up too! Been going to church office, getting materials, praying, meeting up with the decor team and putting my artay fartsy skills into good use (I hope)! Ha! Thank God man, with all these going on, I still managed to make it for Nations Cup games! Only thing was after finals I had to rush off and didn't get to take a nice decent photo with SB :(

A little sad. But its okay cos I know that doesn't make me less as a friend! Ha! Hope my dear friend gets a good rest and catch up with all that she needs to!

Trials changed me.

When my life is filled with demands or when something is taken away from me against my will, I know, that's a trial. And I totally HATE them! They make my life miserable! They make me feel EMO like crap!

But over the years, I guess I have learned to embrace trials! And the part I LOVE the most is - the bigger the trial, the greater the blessings!!! Yipee!!!

And so, trials changed me and made me stronger in Christ which led to:
FAITH - believing that I have receieved all God's promises in Christ before seeing it manifest in my life :)
HOPE - reading God's word have this effect of hopfulness!
PEACE - knowing that Jesus is working for my good, gives me supernatural shalom the world cannot give! Praise Jesus!
WISDOM - Somehow, with peace & rest, I was able to make better decisions.
FAVOR - by God's grace, I just find favor with the people involved in my trials. It's amazing, it's supernatural, it's outta this world... I know, it must be Jesus. Who else? LOL.
GRATITUDE - the more goodness I see in my life, the more thankful I am for Ps Prince's ministry that unveil Jesus, His finished work on the cross & all the blessings He died to give me.

Every trial made me run to Him more & more, see His supplies more & more, receieve His goodness more & more. Simply grace upon grace. Everyday, I'm relying on this.

What Do You Believe?

What to do if You're Tired of Toughing It Out
by Joyce Meyer

Have you ever noticed how so many different thoughts run through our minds every day? Some are good, some bad. Unfortunately, our natural temptation is to focus on the bad; so accepting them doesn't take any effort. The effort comes when we're determined to cast down the negative thoughts, and take a firm grasp of the positive ones.

The Battle for Your Thoughts

Positive minds full of faith and hope produce positive lives. The opposite is also true: negative minds full of fear and doubt produce negative lives, which can ultimately destroy your life. Some people have been hurt so many times that they don't think they can face the pain of another letdown. Therefore, they refuse to hope so they won't be disappointed.

Battles are fought in our minds every day. When we begin to feel the battle is just too difficult and want to give up, we must choose to resist negative thoughts and be determined to rise above our problems. We must decide that we're not going to quit.

When we're bombarded with doubts and fears, we must take a stand and say: "I'll never give up! God's on my side. He loves me, and He's helping me! I'm going to make it!"

Don't Give Up!

No matter how bad the battle rages in your mind, don't give up! Step out and regain the territory that's been stolen from you. Even if it's only an inch at a time, make sure you're leaning on God's grace and not on your own ability.

In Galatians 6:9 the apostle Paul simply encourages us to keep on keeping on! Don't be a quitter! Don't have that old "give up" spirit. God's looking for people who will find the courage to rise above all the negative and pursue the positive.

Whatever you may be facing or experiencing in your life right now, I want to encourage you to stay positive and refuse to give up! God is with you. He'll help you make spiritual progress—strengthening and encouraging you to keep on keeping on during rough times. It's easy to quit, but it takes faith to press on to victory.

Reprogram Your Mind

When the battle seems endless and you think you'll never make it, remember that you're reprogramming a "worldly" mind to think as God thinks. In the same way that computers are programmed, our minds are also programmed.

From the time we're born, our minds are like computers that have had a lifetime of garbage programmed into them. But God—the best "computer programmer" around—is working on us every day to reprogram our minds as we cooperate with Him (see Romans 12:2).

When Progress is Slow

This process of reprogramming or renewing our minds will take place little by little, so don't be discouraged if progress seems slow. Don't get down when you have setbacks or bad days. Just get back up, dust yourself off and start again.

When a baby is learning to walk, he falls many, many times before he develops the ability to walk without falling; however, the baby is persistent. He may cry for a while after he falls down, but he always gets right back up and tries again.

Learning to change our thinking works the same way. There will be days when we don't do everything right—days when our thinking is negative. But never stop trying. God is gradually bringing us around to His way of thinking. Just don't give up!

I love this article as it is truely what I believe about having a positive mindset and how it is tough yet possible but not by human efforts but solely on God's grace. It is a gift.

what makes me joyful

1. Being a blessing to the people around me.

2. Being there for the people I love.

3. Being with the people I love.

4. Watching the people I love, doing well in their lives.

5. Being in the house of God.

6. Seeing joyful smiles on the faces of my loved ones.

My loved ones are my family members, my colleagues, my dear friends, my coaches, my players, my teachers in charge, the Rock Kids children, my fellow church mates etc. These are the people that made my life beautiful, eventful, wonderful and I just love them so! LOL.

It just brings me so much joy seeing them happy and especially so if I contribute to their joy. Maybe that's why God put them in my life or them in my life for :)

Amazing.

My new slogan to live my life:
"Think positive, Feel positive, Live positive"

I've been dewelling about so much things the last few days & this slogan kept popping into my mind. Reminding me to live positive.

I'm sure the right one will come along soon enough. My part is to guard my heart till the right one is here :)
